Ichigo to Yume

So today was the last day of GW here in Japan.
Despite it being a holiday, I had to wake up early.
Of course, I barely got any sleep the night before.
But somehow, I had energy today!!  ^^

I had such a fun day.
And seeing Kacky (Kakihara Tetsuya) as a fish was icing on the cake.^o^

Before I go, look who I found in town today!

Kidou Senshi Gundam 00- KIZUNA
I watched Gundam 00 ep. 19!  Wow!
So the one positive thing about the Trinity brats is that they're bringing the Gundam Meisters together.
And surprise surprise...I actually liked Tieria in this episode.  If he continues acting like this, I just might stop hating him.
Same thing with Louise.  After the last two episodes, I'm actually beginning to care for her.  I actually liked her in this ep.
I feel so sad for both her and Saji.  Man he really hates the mention of GUNDAM now.  Can't wait to see what he does with all that hatred.
I hope he and Setsuna get to interact with each other again soon.

Setsuna was so cool in this ep.  Loved how he didn't even flinch when Lockon shot his gun at him.
Setsuna: Ore ga...GUNDAM da! (SOOO COOL)
Haha, then Lockon called him a Gundam baka.  And Setsuna thanked him for giving him the greatest praise.
And then Tieria actually said something nice.  Awesome scene.

Love Root ZERO 10
I listened to Love Root Zero 10 earlier.
I was listening to the ad for the next drama cd that's coming out and I heard Kacky say "Do You Love Me?" in such a cute voice.^o^
Hehe it was much cooler than at the Pash de Dash event when Kaida Yuki and Kacky where saying "I love you." in a bunch of different languages including Tagalog and English in a recorded message.  They were both a little tipsy the night they had recorded that and so it came out sounding so kimoi on the playback.:p

Latest GURREN LAGANN news!!
There's a new radio show [Rajio Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann] beginning this week!
It starts on February 2nd and is supposed to be a power up from the internet Onsen version.
So new contents and latest GL info!  And of course, the hosts will still be Kacky and Inoue Marina!
It'll be airing on Bunka Housou and Radio Osaka! Can't wait!!

Akanai Tobira: Hatano Wataru x Kakihara Tetsuya
Wow!  I listened to Akanai Tobira last night!
It was so cute....or maybe I should say erokawaii.
Hatano played seme to Kacky's uke.  And wow, I dunno if I've ever heard Kacky play such a cute BL character before!
But at the same time it was kinda awkward listening to the H scenes because I guess I'm so used to hearing the 2 together on the radio as themselves.^___^;  But they both did an excellent job! 
The second story was also cute!!  Hirakawa was in it, too!! I wanna go out and get the manga now!

Kidou Senshi Gundam 00- 16
Ahh! Most of it was a recap ep.
But at least we got to see the Trinity triplets.  I like Johann and Michael. Johann because he's hecka cool and I like his levelheadness.  Unlike his sibs, he doesn't seem so quick to judgement when it comes to the other Meisters. Konitan was a good choice for this role.:p  I hope they'll have him as a guest on Celestial Station soon!
As for Michael, I like him because he's wild and crazy.  I knew the minute I saw how he acted on the battlefield, that I would like him. ^^  Hopefully, future eps. won't change my opinion about them.
I'm not sure whether I like Nena yet, tho.  But I do like her Throne unit!  She's got a sweet deal!

Hopefully next week's episode will be worth the wait!

So I was listening to Love Root Zero 5  today and it was so funny!!  This is the radio show hosted by Kakihara Tetsuya and Asakawa Yuu. Their guest this time was Miyata Kouki who plays Candy on the drama cd.  This time in the Cheering Zero corner a listener sent in a letter about how her boyfriend is going abroad to the States and she has to decide whether to go with him or not. But she's worried because she can't speak English and doesn't have any friends there.  So in order to cheer the listener on, they decide to play an eikaiwa (English conversation) game.  They play The Telephone Game in English which will be a test of Kacky and Asakawa's English ability.

So Miyata gets the message from the staff in Japanese and has to convey the message to Asakawa.
Miyata isn't so great at English, so he had to use a lot of hand gestures and broken English.  But he was so cute to hear trying to convey the message in English.  So cuuute. ^o^  And luckily, Asakawa figured out what he was trying to say and in perfect English explains to Kacky the message.  Kacky appears to understand everything Asakawa says and lastly translates the message back into Japanese and he was right on!  Very cool!!  So if anything, his listening skills are good!  I hope they play this game again this time making Kacky speak English!  That would be awesome!!  They should play a game like this on PASH!!  Kaida and Kacky could both show off their Eigo skills. ^o^

Well, it's getting late.  I ought to get to bed!! Oyasumi!

So Kacky's back from Germany.  And according to him his first job since his return was today's ep. of ChouRaji.
Unfortunately, I forgot it started at 530 and missed an hour of it.  But I was able to catch the last half hour.
It's my first time listening to the show.  Because they only started airing it on the internet last week.
Before you had to have digital radio to listen.  So now that it's on the net, it's great because he can get more listeners now.

I really love Kacky's Chou Raji.  It's gotta really cool and comfortable mood to it.  And it's like a real radio show with intervals of music.  They play anime/game-related songs.  And I wish I could've listened to all the corners but I bet they're all interesting judging from his Chou Raji blog.   Today, I only got to listen to the advice corner and his hot news corner.  I like how he updates everyone on his recent roles in that corner.    He also talked about his trip to Germany which he loved.  He talked about how comfortable he felt with the fans there and how he'd love to go again. He also talked about the difference in temperature here in Japan compared to Germany. Apparently, German is reasonably cooler compared to J-land at the moment.

Well, I'm gonna go check for updates to his blog.  Then, I'll prolly listen to PASH! later.  They're supposed to have the Reborn! peeps as guest!
I wonder if they still did the kamiaitai corner.  If they did, hopefully, they did better this week.

Today was the Kakihara Tetsuya (Kacky) handshake event at Comike.  I woke up early in the morning to get there before 10 but well, not really that early.  Thank goodness too because it would've sucked to have to wait more than an hour in that scorching sun.  Nevertheless, I still got sunburned as well as tanned. Bleh.:p


Finally it came around time for the Kacky event!   In order to be more organized and not have all the Kacky fans crowding the booth and being in other people's way, they had us line up outside of the venue.  They let us in in groups of 20s. koramay was in the first group to get inside. 

I used this waiting time to think of what to say. Kacky is known for speaking 4 languages, one of them being English.  So I figured if I ended up forgetting what I was gonna say, I'd just go ahead and fall back on my English.  Usually, at handshake events there's a lot of pressure to say what you're gonna say and say it fast since the staff tend to rush you along  by pushing you at a certain point.  So, I thought I sure hope I'll have more time than to just be able to say a greeting and a short one sentence comment.

  But they finally called the 2nd group of us in, and had us raise our hands like Japanese school children crossing the street while we made our way back to the Hanayoi booth.  This is when I got my first glimpse of Kacky so up-close.  I had been to the GL event earlier in the month but didn't get to see him this close as I was on the 3rd floor.


I swear everytime I see him in person, I can't get over how cute he is. :p  If you have seen his pics in afureko pics or seiyuu mags, trust me he is way cuter in person.   He was very oshare today and wore a nice black shirt with a black vest over it.  And of course, he had his handtowel prepared and 2 staff members fanning him from the back and from the side.  One of them was actually, holding a small electric fan up behind him.:p  Much better than when Hirakawa came.  He was totally dripping sweat and had only his hand towel to relieve him.

There were still like five more people ahead of us from the 2nd group and among them was koramay.  I'm pretty sure a lot of us waiting in line were playing close attention to when she was speaking with him.  I can't help but think everyone was thinking like me.  Are they speaking in English or Japanese?  But it was impossible to tell let alone hear from where I was standing. He looked really happy to see her again and it looked like their conversation was flowing well.

Of all the handshake events  I've ever been to, his is the first one where I've ever been worried about blanking out on what to say.   So, I went over in my head again about what topics I could bring up.  I was really amazed about this event because the staff didn't force you away like they usually did at previous events I've been to.  They actually, let people stay and ask as many questions as they wanted and people decided to just leave on their own.  I like this method.  No need to feel rush.

When koramay was finished, she came up and told me about what they talked about.  They only spoke in Japanese it seems.

There was still some time before it was my turn so I watched the other girls as they went.  I noticed someone commented him on his clothes.  But I couldn't really hear a thing anybody was saying to him let alone his replies. When it got to the turn of the person in front of me, I was paying close attention to their convo for when it would be my queue to go up to him.  I think the girl in front of me must've been nervous because she would paused to think of what question she wanted to ask and Kacky would patiently stand there waiting for her ask.

Then it was my turn!
