So today I headed out to Shibuya to attend Nagayan's 2nd and Last Live at Shibuya BOXX.  It turned out that YOU (The Jrs. units like JJ Express, Ya Ya Yah, etc.) were playing at Yoyogi Stadium next door.  So I decided to dump Nagayan and attend the Jrs. live instead...SIKE!

Ok, but I did kinda wanna go.  Unfortunately, I'm sure the tickets that I saw one Japanese man scalping were prolly super expensive.  Besides, I know it wouldn't be right to leave Takashi like that, right? :p

Anyhow you could tell that the Jrs. were in town because all the way from the station (in Harajuku) you would run into larger than norm crowds of people and you could hear them murmuring Johnny's all over the place.  Then when I saw the YOU goods bags, it was quite obvious.

But back to Nagayan's live.

It started late...they like only let us in like maybe 5 mins. before the show was supposed to start.  And it wasn't a good day to be late since it was raining outside.  Not the best conditions for standing outside in line waiting for your number to be called.

Despite that, the LIVE was quite fun...but not without its fair share of mishaps.  I think Nagayan must've been a combo of both tired and nervous.  You could see the bags under his eyes.  And it looked like he's lost weight.  He played his old hits from the first album in the beginning.  But he forgot the words to the first song and ended up lalala-ing through that part.  ^^;
After that, he went sang his new songs.  I liked quite a few of them.  There was a good mix of ballads and upbeat songs.

There were a few MCs.  But Nagayan didn't talk for too long.  In fact, he actually messed up an MC when he introduced a topic that he meant for another time during the show.  He also brought up the fact that the Johnny's were next door but without mentioning the name "JOHNNY's.":p

One of the new songs he sang is called Sakebe.  There's a verse of lines just repeating the words SU--KI! So to set us up for this song, he asked the audience if we suki-ed him.  And if we suki-ed the live.  The obvious answer of course being SU---KI.  But then he asked if we SU---KI-ed the guys (Johnny's) playing in THAT huge venue next door more than himself.  SILENCE.............But Nagayan felt a sense of hesitation from the audience.  As if they were holding in the fact that they DID like the Johnny's more than him.  :p haha..so funny.  I'm surprised no one said SUKI just to spite him or make him laugh.^o^

As I said before, there were a few mishaps.  Towards the end, Nagayan forgot the words to a song but was very obvious about it and didn't try to hide it, telling the audience...lalala..what were the lyrics to this song...lalala.  Then he struggled with some of the notes for some other songs...he got choked up or needed some water or something because he seemed to be forcing the words out and tended to crack.  I felt bad for him but everyone supported him with shouts of "Kakkoi," "Don't Mind" and "Ganbare!"

I kinda wondered how he'd make it to the evening live since he seemed already exhausted from the first one.  -.-
Seems like he may've been overworking himself lately.  Hope he can get some rests.

Despite all the problems, the show was still fun as he joked around quite a bit.^^

New songs that stood out for me were:  Burger Shop, Kiss, Sakebe, Sarishikimi, Kuchibiru, and Katachi.

Yeah, it really surprised me how much he was off his game. I thought that he'd done better in the earlier show, but it seems that he might have done (a tiny bit) better in the later one after all. Not that either of them was a match for his live last year. -_-;

I really hope that Nagayan takes a good, long rest after this. He seems to really need it, and I agree that he's lost weight- his pants kept falling down and he was constantly hiking them up and tucking his shirt back in!

I liked a lot of the same songs as you, but omg.... Burger Shop? ^_^;; With that and "Love", I kind of felt embarrassed that he had the nerve to stand up there and sing them... on stage. ^^;;;;;;

Haha..I liked the way he performed Burger Shop and the lyrics were cute. I was a little surprised by "LOVE" too. I mean I knew it was pretty much just a filler song to intro the band...but I was like..ok..how long is he going to be "LOVELOVELOVELOVELOVE~." No wonder he was losing his voice, if he had to do that at every rehearsal.

I hope he wasn't losing weight on purpose. He looked fine during the summer.

I guess the rainy weather didn't help. I think it made everyone just a little less genki than usual. Most of the mistakes weren't so bad, tho. Just seemed like he lost concentration sometimes.

The main problem with LOVE was that he pronounces it LAB. So it turned into LAB.LABLABLABLABLAB (blah blah blah blah XD)

Exactly..and the LABLAB just liasoned and became LABLAHBLAHBLAH. So I found it amusing cuz to me he sounded like he was just singing BLAH BLAH BLAH. ^^;

He may have just been in a rush because he started late and had to prepare for the next live.
