Wow, I feel so accomplished today.
I finally sent out my JLPT application and money order.  I pray that the test site I get will be closer to where I actually live than it was last year.  But I guess it doesn't help that I've once again sent it in so late and so close to the deadline. My bad.><
After my trip to the post office, I headed to city hall to pick up my brand new updated foreigner's registration card.  All I had to do was pop in, hand over my old card and I was handed my new card.  It's all nice and shiny now.  But I kinda wish I had photocopied my old card or something.  It's like a memory of when I first came to Japan and of when I lived in Akita. Oh, how I miss those days.  I can't believe that last month marked my 5 year anniversary of living in Japan. 長すぎ~! I really never intended to stay in Japan this long.  What's wrong with me?

I also paid my rent today.  Ugh..and with that withdrawal my bank account is way low at the moment...T___T  I blame having to pay city taxes this month.

I was planning to watch the Gurren Lagann movie today.  But unfortunately, my sis doesn't wanna go until Friday.  But if I went today it would only be 1000 yen. My sister-- the kj!

Well, Im off to Shibuya to hang out with some friends. Ciao!

Man, and didn't those years just go by so quickly.
If only I'd been able to come here in high school or college. I may not have stayed this long if I had.^^;

I'm going for 1kyuu this year. But I can't say I'm completely confident.
I'm very scared. I fear the reading section and the 70% passing mark.><
I'm really bad at test-taking. But I'll try my best and get in as much studying as I can until Dec.
Yeah, it doesn't even feel like 5 years. The first 2 go by so quickly.

I saw the movie tonight! It was great! I was glad that they kept to the original content! And it was great to watch it in the theater! I wanna buy the movie pamphlet now.

So, I've been wandering, what kind of work do you do in Japan? I mean, did you move there first and then get a job or did you get a job there first and then move?

I keep bombarding you with questions -.-

Seriously though, good luck on the JLPT! :) 1kyuu?! Sugoi. I had no idea the passing mark was so high for the 1kyuu, I thought it was only 60% for 1 and 2 but 70% for 3 and 4. Ugh!

I wish you lots of luck, and keep us on your f/l updated ^^
TTGL on the big screen I'm sure was damn awesome ^^ I have a small hope they'll bring it to select theatres in the US, maybe hehe!

umm...isn't it only natural i'd want to go on a night when i dont have to wake up early to go to work the next morning? i mean seriously i don't think you think about the situation on my end. friday works much better for my work schedule and i don't have to worry about going to work the next morning.

It's ok. I went ahead and saw it earlier! Since we ate out today figured itd be better to save money and watch today instead of Friday. Not to mention, I have that special class Friday so I might not be able to leave on time. So works out better this way. Besides, seemed like u didn't really care to watch it or not. BTW, I don't buy the wake up early thing because you went to have dinner until 9 so we couldve watched the movie at 6 or 7 and gone home the same time so...>o<
