I just heard from my dad about the earthquake off the coast of Tokyo. I'm assuming since my friends on FB and LJ don't seem to be posting much about it...it wasn't anything to really be worried about. I heard there were no reports of damage so I assume people are ok, too.  But was   just wondering because I wonder if I should be concerned about my PC. ><  If it was just a little shaking like the usual earthquakes, it should be ok but if it was enough to send things flying off shelves..hmmm...I don't wanna come home to a broken monitor.>o<

It was rather strong (then again I was on the second floor at an event so the shaking was probably more intense there) and shook for a while but ya, nothing major. Your stuff should be fine.

Just got back...glad it wasn't that bad.
And luckily, we arrived during the good weather. We were worried we might have to carry our luggage in the rain.

Ahh okies. We'll need to meet up! =.DDD You have my number? It's in one of my posts before the 31st of July.

Yeah, it looked like it was gonna rain today but didn't so yay. (Though I carried around an umbrella for nothing. .^^;)

I was pretty close to Tokyo Bay at the time and was sitting on the ground... you could feel it rumble and jerk underneath your butt but there was nothing really worrying. People were surprised, things moved a bit but nothing crashed down from shelves or anything...

Well, in my zone of Tokyo was a level 4 but my computer was fine.
In other zones of Tokyo it was not so strong but the usual earthquake so I think your computer is fine

Luckily it wasn't anything big. I'm glad.

I didn't feel that one AT ALL. It was really weird 'cause my sister and I were the only ones who didn't feel it LOL. Maybe we were in a really sturdy new building at the time? (We were near Kabuki-chou) Your computer should be fine :3

We definitely felt the one this morning though (woke me up ;A; ). But both of them were only around 4.0 mag. so yea, not too big.

Yeah, it must've been the building. Or sometimes if you're walking on the street somehwere you might not notice either. I'm gonna move my monitor a little further away from the edge than it is now just in case of aftershocks. I know it's really bad but my desk is so messy right now, there's so little space. Think I'll be doing a lot of cleaning this week.
