Oh my gosh!! For the first time in my life ever!!  I actually won a drawing!!  At a SEIYUU EVENT!!!
Just got back from Seiyuu-san no Talk Show vol. 1 in Shinjuku.  I actually hadn't planned to go there but since yukiichigo  had to go there for a kind of 見学 and we don't get much time to hangout with each other during the week, she invited me to go.
The seiyuu for the event were Kusuda Toshiyuki, Inoue Suguru and Kousaka "ero megane" Atsushi.  I know Inoue as Yamamoto from Katekyo Hitman Reborn and Kusuda's name is familiar to me but I don't really know the three well.    But they were very enjoyable to watch and Inoue's especially funny at improv.
Ahh...hazukashikatta!  The venue was small and I was not far from the stage.  My seat was actually in the third row but I changed seats to go to where my friends were sitting since there was an empty seat between them.  In the beginning of the show, they asked if anyone had come from far away or had come from overseas.    I hate getting asked that question because I feel obligated to raise my hand even tho I didn't come from overseas for that specific event and I happen to live in Japan most of the year.><  But being the obvious foreigner in the audience, I'm humbly guessing the question was most likely directed at me. /blush So my friend and I raised our hands and said we're from America.  They were impressed.and told us that they don't know English and apologized that the show would be in Japanese.  We assured them that Japanese was OK and had a good laugh :p

At the end of the show they had a drawing to pick 4 people who could win sign boards with all of their signatures.
I never win anything and didn't expect to win but they called the 4th number and I couldn't believe I had won. O__o
Seriously, I never win!  But I guess I had some luck today.  I got up and got on stage to get my sign board handed to me by all three of them.  They gathered together and decided to say the one phrase in English that all three of them should know.  So it went like this:

Kousaka, Inoue, Kusuda: 3-2-1!
Kousaka and Inoue: Thank you very much!!
Kusuda: I Love You!

They were really nice and I shook all three of their hands and said Thank you in English!  It was a great ending to the show!
So I had a really fun day thanks to yukiichigo !!  Much love! <3

Lastly, here's a present for yukiichigo  or anyone else who enjoys yakiimo or Vocaloid (Kaito):

Today was your lucky day (^o^)v

It's really the proof coincidences doesn't exist !!

But I sympathize for being the only of foreigner in a audience... This must really embarrassed (>_<)
I'm a bit afraid of this when I'll go to Japan :s

Oh, don't be afraid! It's actually more of an advantage than a disadvantage. Unless you're really shy. But yeah, you get used to it since anyone who isn't Japanese here is a minority here. You'll stand out no matter where you go. But definitely nothing to be afraid of. ^o^

LOL EMO IMO! :X I had a dream last night I had imo flavored ice cream. Anyway sometimes I do envy being able to stick out as a foreigner though.

I kind of just blend in and everyone end up being surprised afterward like "WHAT?! You're not JAPANESE?!" And no one really believes I'm from the states either *tear* So now I'm always just like "白人や黒人じゃなくてすみません" (I used that as my self intro in my class for uni and the teacher was just like "... what o.o")

LoL at your introduction.
Yeah, I can see the advantages and disadvantages of both.
And it must be annoying to have to explain yourself.><
You should just start wearing a shirt with an American flag on it and a flag pin. Or better yet, go to school dressed in a tee and jeans. That just screams All-American. ;p
