Read Junjou Minimum! Read Junjou Minimum!

Sorry, haven't posted my full review of St. Ludovico yet. I've actually been quite busy these past few days.
I did manage to watch Dream Live 2! It brought back a lot of great memories! And I finally got to see the Aiba vs. Endou dance-off tennis match again! It's one of my most favorite parts of the entire show!
Well, other than that! I read Junjou Minimum which is a part of the Junjou Romantica series!!! OMG, I love love love it! The first chapter of Junjou Minimum was published in Ciel a little while back but the tankouban adds more chapters! In case your not familiar with Minimum, basically it's about Usami, Kamijou, Misaki, and Takahiro when they were younger!! I'll have more details later. But the story with Kamijou is about how and when he fell in love with Usami!! They were very young!! And this is waaaaaaaaaaaaay waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay before college! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY before Hirotaka. Damn, I can't help but feel sorry for Usami when I think of his unrequited love and then family situation. Aaaaahh, but I digress.

Anyhow, Misaki's story is soooooooooo kawaii! I seriously cried reading it! Chibi Misaki is too cute! It's all about his love for his brother. The story takes place after his parents' death from a car accident which they had on their way back from overseas as they rushed home to care for the sick Misaki. Of course, Misaki blames himself for their death. And he overhears the neighbors pitying his older brother who is only 18 years old but having to raise a child. They pity for him being "a child raising a child.":<

Well, Misaki doesn't want to be a burden to his brother. As much as he can, he wants to help out around the house and does his best not to cause any trouble for Takahiro. After Takahiro praises Misaki for simply washing rice for dinner, Misaki has a bright idea! He'll cook dinner for Takahiro! He's sure it'll make him so happy!

Misaki copies an OMURAISU (rice omlette) recipe which he saw on TV. While his brother is at work, he gets the ingredients and starts cooking away. Unfortunately, he makes a mess in the kitchen and nearly burns down the house (well, gets it really smoky anyway). When Takahiro comes home, he sees all the smoke and sees Misaki all covered in what he thinks is blood. But, it's actually only ketchup.

Misaki welcomes his brother home with a huge smile on his face. But all Takahiro can focus on is the mess in the kitchen. He tells Misaki to take off his dirty clothes and change while he cleans up. But Misaki suggests they eat dinner before the food gets cold. This aggravates Hirotaka more and he yells at Misaki asking him why he's causing him so much trouble and being a burden to him. This really hurts Misaki's feelings and he begins to cry. The thing he wanted least was to be a burden to his brother.

While Takahiro is cleaning up, he finds Misaki's notebook with the omuraisu recipe. Under the recipe, Misaki wrote "Target: Make aniki happy and put all my heart into it." When Hirotaka reads this, he breaks down and cries and hugs Misaki! He apologizes deeply to Misaki and asks for forgiveness. He wants to eat Misaki's dinner now. Misaki is happy again and Hirotaka eats all of the omuraisu. Takahiro feels sick eating the food but he doesn't say anything. It's so sweet!

OK, gotta go..phone call!

::totally jealous:: Waiii >( I called it "Junjou Chibis" and I guess I was kinda right hee. "Minimum" is much better, I think of Super Mario. But, I atleast want to see one picture of little Nowaki and I can die happy.

Haha, your icon is sooo cuuuuuuuuuute! I love it!
Yes, man, I hope there'll be more Junjou Minimum because I gotta see Nowaki's story!! I mean it's gotta be heartwrenching with his background as an orphan and all. I also want more Chibi Misaki! It would be cool to see his past with Usami from Usami's point of view, too!

You know, I think Nowaki's would be too angsty; like, cliche. So I don't know if I would want to read it (I but I really do! >_<) however I'm also underestimating Nakamura's talent. Like Castilla I thought no way would there be a happy ending without ruining the incredibly beautiful story-- but she did. It's something to look forward to.
